Stops in order
The text version of the route: stops, time at each and the legs between them. Times are estimates, without queues, traffic or swims.
1. Hastings Street~50 min at the stop
Noosa Heads' main street a block from the beach: cafés, restaurants and boutiques, with coffee carts lining the pavement in the morning.
Tip: Breakfast here. Prices on this street sit higher than on the river in Noosaville, which is where the route goes next.

2. Noosa Surf Club~30 min at the stop
The club on the Main Beach boardwalk: simpler food than Hastings, and a view of the flags.
Tip: If the patrol is on, swim between the flags before the ride to the river.

3. Gympie Terrace~1 h at the stop
Noosaville's riverfront: Gympie Terrace restaurants and cafés face the Noosa River, with takeaway fish and chips nearby and shady lawns for a picnic.
Tip: Sit by the water. Elanda Point and the canoes are about 30 minutes north from here if the day is still long.

Before you go
- Route times are estimates: walking, driving and a sensible pause at each stop. Add queues, traffic and swims yourself.
- Prices, timetables and trail status change. Check the venue's official site and the state transport app before you go.
- On beaches, swim only between the red and yellow flags. Use sun protection even when it is cloudy.
