Stops in order
The text version of the route: stops, time at each and the legs between them. Times are estimates, without queues, traffic or swims.
1. Adelaide Central Market~1 h at the stop
A covered market since 1869: cheese, bakeries and South Australian produce. Inside is Lucia's, the pizza and spaghetti bar one family has run since 1957.
Tip: Eat at Lucia's before noon: by lunchtime the queue spills into the aisle. The market trades Tuesday to Saturday, until 9pm on Friday and only until 3pm on Saturday.

3. Haigh's Chocolates, Beehive Corner~20 min at the stop
The local chocolate maker's flagship, on the corner of Rundle Mall and King William Street. The classics: chocolate frogs and bilbies.
Worth knowing: Haigh's was founded in Adelaide in 1915 and is still family-owned.

Before you go
- Route times are estimates: walking, driving and a sensible pause at each stop. Add queues, traffic and swims yourself.
- Prices, timetables and trail status change. Check the venue's official site and the state transport app before you go.
- On beaches, swim only between the red and yellow flags. Use sun protection even when it is cloudy.
