Bus toward Seven Mile Beach, free until 30 June 2027, then walk the shore.

1. The esplanade shop~15 min at the stop
The western end of the beach, with toilets and food. Buses 635, 664 and 665 link it with Hobart.
Tip: Takeaway food is at the Seven Mile Beach Store on Lewis Avenue, by the toilets. There is no cafe on the sand. There are no lifeguards here. If the day is wrong for a swim, this is a walk on the sand.

2. The shore toward Lauderdale~20 min at the stop
The far end of the sand toward Lauderdale. Bus 635 runs back on the road and calls at both Seven Mile Beach and Lauderdale.
Tip: Swim only in flat water and in your depth, preferably back at the start where other people are. Soft sand is slower than the map suggests.
