Stops in order
The text version of the route: stops, time at each and the legs between them. Times are estimates, without queues, traffic or swims.
1. Wynnum foreshore~50 min at the stop
The tidal pool, Pandanus Beach and the jetty, a two-minute walk apart. This is where Brisbane's east side spends Sunday.
Worth knowing: The wading pool and mangrove boardwalk sit on a bay that became a seaside resort once the railway arrived in the late 19th century.
Tip: The jetty is always open. The pool can close in winter for works. Check the council page if the swim is the reason you came.

2. Manly Boat Harbour~30 min at the stop
A working harbour of yachts and fishing boats. The foreshore on the way runs through mangroves.
Tip: The train from Manly or Wynnum goes back to the city. Stay off the private jetties.

Before you go
- Route times are estimates: walking, driving and a sensible pause at each stop. Add queues, traffic and swims yourself.
- Prices, timetables and trail status change. Check the venue's official site and the state transport app before you go.
- On beaches, swim only between the red and yellow flags. Use sun protection even when it is cloudy.
