Stops in order
The text version of the route: stops, time at each and the legs between them. Times are estimates, without queues, traffic or swims.
1. Point Peron~1 h 10 min at the stop
The mainland cape. On a calm day people snorkel the reef. Penguin Island is opposite, and the ferry is not running this season.
Tip: Do not cross the sandbar to the island. There are no lifeguards. Get in only if the day is calm and you can see the bottom.

2. Rockingham foreshore~50 min at the stop
The town shore, with cafes after the cape. Lunch is here, and so is the swim if the flags are up.
Tip: Leave the snorkel at the cape. On the foreshore, swim between the flags.

Before you go
- Route times are estimates: walking, driving and a sensible pause at each stop. Add queues, traffic and swims yourself.
- Prices, timetables and trail status change. Check the venue's official site and the state transport app before you go.
- On beaches, swim only between the red and yellow flags. Use sun protection even when it is cloudy.
